Our mission.

The Foley family is determined that the lives of Tommy and Danny, along with the thousands of others lost on and since 9/11, will not be forgotten. We believe that future generations should remember what occurred that day, should hear the stories of those that were lost, and should understand the ongoing grief our country continues to endure because of September 11th., 2001.

Currently, public education throughout the country is struggling to find ways to teach about the events leading up to, on, and after 9/11. We feel the greatest impacts The 9/11 Education Foundation can have are to support the creation of and access to educational resources about September 11th, 2001 while also acknowledging the educators that embrace the spirit of ‘We Will Never Forget’.

Our Mission: We want to support school districts nationwide with dynamic curriculum, resources and tools that detail the impact of 9/11. We want to thank educators that tell the stories of our first responders, our fellow citizens, and those that we have lost to 9/11 related illnesses. And we want to help support educational opportunities for the children of FDNY Firefighters.

Our country still feels the toll of 9/11 in so many ways, and our goal is to deliver educational and monetary support to students, educators and schools that ensure no one will ever forget September 11th, 2001 or the heroes we lost that day and since.

Donate to the 9/11 Education Foundation.

Let’s make sure we never forget.
